My overall experience in the Tift county school system was amazing! They equip us as students with some of the best resources and the most thoughtful and caring teachers anyone could ask for. When our basketball coach passed away, the whole school and community rallied together in support of his family by making a slogan and putting it on the t-shirts with the help of my place of employment. Furthermore, if I had to suggest a change in anything, I would say that a new sports facility would be a great start! We have passionate athletes and I believe it is imperative for them to have top notch equipment in order to help them prepare for their big games!
I am in Alum of Tift County Schools. I feel as if it’s a decent school district, but there is somethings that could be better. A couple of changes could be made from the way things are handled when students or bullied, fight, need attention to. They could do better with some (not all) hire of staff, but the schools are decently made and upgraded often. They constantly keep prepared for tests, college and etc. We have many school clubs throughout all the schools. Very great sports teams! Overall it’s a great school district with minor issues as many other schools, but if those things were to be fixed it we be an EXCELLENT school.
Good staff, not so good administration. Some teachers provide an excellent learning environment, others make school dreadful. The athletic program is pretty talented, and the student section of school spirit is so fun!
