I would consider my experience in the Tiffin City School District to be average. I have had many memorable and exciting moments, however, I have also had my downs. Tiffin City Schools provide many great programs and opportunities but unfortunately not a lot of students participate, which leads to failure in those programs. I have met many wonderful people and gained some great memories but there are multiple factors I would change. The lunches could be improved, favoritism should be nonexistent and teachers should learn the best ways to teach.
Very good in terms of AP/Honors/Higher level classes. Not very good in terms of sports as not all achievements are recognized and the budget is not fairly distributed. Some very good teachers that are very inspiring, some that sit back and make you teach yourself with little to no guidance. Also not very good at advertising or aiding in the scholarship process.
Going to Tiffin University, there’s a lot of athletes that attend there which makes it easy to make friends because you automatically have things in common with other people. Yes, the university is small, however I believe it is a very good school to go to when starting your college career off to get a feel of how college is. The size of the school allows you to ease into the atmosphere of college easier and without an overwhelming amount of people.
