Throughout my years with TASD, I experienced many highs and lows. I loved my personal connection with my teachers and their willingness to give it their all when educating. However, I was not favorable with TASD's disciplinary actions. They were very biased when punishing students for their wrong doings and were very unfair. They did everything they could to avoid conflict outside of the school. Also, many teachers acted as if they did not care about the students or their jobs. Though my experience seems horrible, there were also many good times. I was very involved in extra-curricular activities. I greatly enjoyed the majority of my experiences.

For the short time i was enrolled the experience was fantastic. Due to unfortunate circumstances in my home like i was mot able to stay. If someome id looking for a place to start college i would fully recommended Texarkana Community College. They also have one-of- a kind teachers to boot!
Both of my children attend school in TASD. I love the fact that in Elementary my children are taking dance, playing the violin, and working in a computer science lab! My son has Autism, the school has a strong support team there that work diligently to provide him the help he needs. He has really grown and excelled in this environment.
