The Taylor school board and the school administration lacks any amount of accountability, as is shown time and time again. Student opinions mean nothing to the majority of higher ups and the teachers are often ill informed by the administration. The merge of Truman and Kennedy High School was lined with empty promised and the new administration has been know to intimidate both students and parents with the goal of maintaining the status quo. There are many good teachers, but many are being forced out of the district because they are not treated or compensated fairly.

I attend Harry S. Truman High School and love Taylor School District. My District is a little different, because we have two High schools. This is especially cool for the students, we have better rivalary, more friends, and more games to attend!
The Taylor School District has way too many schools within the District. The one of two high schools, John F. Kennedy, is being shut down due to building problems and lack of money. I believe the Taylor school District should close a few of the elementary schools because there are an abundance of those. Taylor needs to lay off the few teachers that do not educate their students much at all. Some schools in the District are cleaner than others, but maintenance should definitely be improved.
