I as a graduate of the Tangipahoa Parish Public school appreciate everyone who has helped me become the person I am today. I believe without the help of the teachers, I probably wouldn't even be trying to attend college. Everyone motivated me and made sure I stayed on the correct path. The school system believed in me, when I did not want to believe in myself. I am more than thankful to be an graduate of Hammond High School. I wish could thank everyone one by one and just let them know I mean every word. Tangipahoa school's staff are more than staff, because they actually care for you as a family.

My experience in the Tangipahoa school system has been a very rewarding. I am in the Loranger High School band. If it wasn't for Loranger Middle School, I may not have realized my talent for music. The teachers are easy to talk to. I have a 3.95 average and owe this to some of the best teachers at Loranger.
Tangipahoa Parish Schools are very average. I've been to 3 schools in the entire parish, and they were all the same. Academic wise though, the school I attend know is stronger in that section. Sports and club wise everything is like you typical public school.
