Being able to take classes that have variety was nice. I took Anatomy which gave me the idea that going into the medical field was not for me. Along with taking Human Behavior gave me the idea that Physiology was not a field I wanted to go into. After taking core classes, I got to choose other various classes and through that I learned how to cook and exercise along with daily tasks that will help me in life. My core classes were helpful as well because each one of my teachers helped me understand the information I needed to learn. When I struggled, I got the help I needed to succeed. Tallmadge School district makes me feel safe in the classroom and building along with having staff that is caring if students need to talk to them. My high school feels like a comfortable place to learn and grow as a student. I believe I went to a great High school and would not change a thing because my four years were very successful because of the teachers and opportunities given by my school.

Tallmadge Schools are good but if you did not grow up going through all the grade you will never feel truly welcomed. The schools are very disorganized and very few know what is going on. Only the big sports get any funding or good coaches. I played an 'unpopular sport' and the school didn't provide any new equipment but every year the big sports get $1,000's towards them. The teacher are pretty good; you have the great ones but also the poor ones. If you aren't in the Honors or AP classes you won't get amazing teachers. They do have a good lunch program allowing for low income families to easily get free or reduced meals.
Tallmadge High School is a school focused on giving the best education possible to students. The Mathematics courses are above any other district and the teachers know the best way to teach. Foreign Language classes are above the rest and show the importance of diversity and culture. Tallmadge offers many AP, Honors, and CCP classes. Having the opportunities to receive college credit for some classes is a tremendous head start for college. The use of technology is well advanced. The school has hundreds of laptops and computers to help the students learn while still having a little fun. Each classroom includes a Smart Board. Tallmadge just passed a levy to build a massive sports complex. The high school is a very safe place to be, maintained well, and has an excellent staff. The future looks bright for Tallmadge High School and their future students.
