Tallassee City Schools Reviews
Tallassee is truly a unique town. Education at Tallassee City Schools varies. K-4 was wonderful. Always hands on learning. 5-8 started off challenging the students, but by the 8th grade the learning seemed to halt. 9-12 seemed very political and learning was difficult. Putting on a movie three times a week doesn't prepare you for college. On the other hand, the teachers generally care about you. They become your mentors for life. Tallassee feels like home.
It is a small town school. Everyone knows each other and teachers are there to help you. Even though it was a small town school, this school offered many activities and fun classes to take. The thing i would like to see change the most is to focus more on extracurricular and hands on activities and most of all school work.
I love the campus it's beautiful and the people you meet are great, the only problem is the area surrounding the campus. It's a not so safe area and I'd like for them to make the area safer
