Here the teachers put you first. They put your education before anything they have to do. I do have to admit it is more put together than many other schools, like for example, the academics are a little harder. They do expect you to live up to your expectations, as they live up to theirs. Overall my experience at Talawanda for the past 2.5 years has been great! Coming from Hamilton was a little struggle. But you soon realize they are preparing you for college, and they only have 4 years to do it!

The building and grounds are wonderful, new in 2012. The teachers are well educated (Masters required in their field). Security is good with drills and locks, passes for visitors, etc. Communication is good but only if you sign up to receive the newsletter emails. The bus system is poorly organized, though, due to the greatly staggered start times between the different buildings and the enormous square miles area the district encompasses.
