Sycamore High School is a very dedicated school. It dedicates all of it's time towards getting students involved in it's many extracurricular activities, preparing students for college and making sure that each student does not feel left behind. Though every school has it's bad eggs, I am proud to call myself a Sycamore Spartan!
Review Sycamore Community Unit School District No. 427
This is a very small high school set in a beautiful historic town. The community is very close knit and it seems like everyone looks out for each other. The school takes great pride in engaging students in the community. They also take great pride in their sports department as well. The only down fall is that the school is a little dated and the facilities are older. The sports fields could also use a little updating as well. Overall though, this is a great school to attend.
Sycamore School District No. 427 was an absolutely amazing district to be a part of. We were all a family and we were all treated fairly. One thing that stood out to me about the district was the push for all students to belong to sports, clubs, and honor classes. Each and every teacher pushed us to be our best and to get involved. I started out at West Elementary School, then I went to the Middle School and High School. only remember positive experiences with teachers and administrators, even at a young age. Living in such a small town, having a tight school district that implants rules and safety while also giving their students an amazing experience is vital to the well being of all children and teens involved. If I could go back and start it all over, I would.
