Switzerland County is a good school. I have attended there for my entire life. They aren't amazing and they aren't horrible. They're probably right in the middle. The education isn't the greatest just because the corporations main concern is that we have a high graduation rate even if it means quality of education isn't considered. Some seniors have realized they didn't have enough credits on the day of graduation and taken an entire class worth of work online in under two hours. That shouldn't be possible, but sadly it's kind of regular here. A lot of the kids aren't very nice either. Most of the staff are pretty great people, but it's definitely a small town. It's like I'm living in high school music with all kinds of cliques but I'm not in one of them so I'm just watching. Being different gets you called out. I wouldn't go here if you are part of a minority, but the impoverished are treated very well here. You can make your own mind up.
The teachers are very helpful at my school corporation, the students are all well behaved and always looking out for others, and I am getting a great education.
The school is very much about last names and they do favorites;although there are many amazing teachers there. For example my English teacher was amazing, she definitely prepared me the most for college. If the school also understood that many kids feel exempt from extracurricular activities because the other classmates are not very friendly and do not want to change their ways of excepting new people.
