Sutton Schools is overall a very good community. It is a small school, with relatively small classes, and close relationships between students and teachers. Due to its size, there is not a huge variety of classes. For example, there is only one language offered, and a handful of AP classes. However, the school is recently bringing in some new programs, such as an Engineering and Design, and a Robotics program. There are a lot of clubs and activities, and there is a lot of school spirit surrounding sports teams. Sutton also has a chorus, band, drama club, Gender and Sexuality Alliance, and Connections program, (which is a group that focuses on social justice issues).
i love my school and wouldn't change it for the world. It does have a few down falls. Sutton is a small town and while i love small town life it might be different for some, because of it being a small town it isn't really that diverse. We have a bunch of amazing forward moving things like Connections that I'm apart of and love, its so amazing and feels good to be apart of, while it is a high school and can have a lot of issues with students. the bones of the school are very good and strong.
Sutton High School is a great place to be! I started in sophomore year and I have really enjoyed my classes and my teachers. They have allowed for an environment where I have been able to succeed.
