My teachers at Susquehanna Township School District encouraged me to do my best in school. They saw my potential and pushed me until I reached their vision for me. They nominated me for several leadership forums and placed me in positions of leadership within clubs and school projects. However, the school district did not have a very good plan for the students in the advanced math program because once we reached high school, they did not allow us to take the consumer math course, as colleges would view it as going backwards instead of trying to understand how to handle money responsibly.

I like the over all diversity of Susquehanna Township High-school. I would like to see a change in the schools over all system. Susquehanna tends to do things late, for example: When I was in 9th grade we were supposed to have advisories. They just started them now 2 years later and I’m a junior. It last for 10 minutes, but if I’m honest none of us understand the use of it. In Susquehanna there is a togetherness that is not like any other school. Now are there outliers? Yes, and I happen to be one of them but it hasn’t diminished my high school career. I just got to figure out what worked for me and what didn’t.
One of my favorite things about Susquehanna Township is the amount of diversity throughout each and every school. Unlike a lot of other schools, everywhere you look there are people from different races, cultures, religions, etc. However, the method of discipline is extremely poor. It is not uncommon for fights to break out in this school and the correct disciplinary action is never taken.
