Sumner offers the IB studies which seemed to be a bonus but in the end was not beneficial. The work was challenging but the support/teaching was not. Looking back on this now as patents, we would not recommend this for a child who may be in sports or other activities or holds a job. Too much!

We had a lot of difficulty getting help for my son who has a learning disability. The fact that he was passing, although doing poorly, seemed to function as an excuse not to provide him with any help. The quality of his teachers has varied dramatically, especially on issues having to do with the well-documented disability. Some teachers have been in denial, which seemed to provide a welcome excuse to the administration at his school to do nothing. Other teachers have been incredibly helpful.
Overall, they are a gret district. Since we moved into the district last year, they have done everything they can to help with the adjustment for both of my children. They go above and beyond for my son who has adhd, sensory processing disorder and Reactive attachment disorder
