I had a great overall experience throughout my time in the Strongsville City School District. This school district is very well rounded in terms of academics, sports, as well as opportunities outside the classroom. Once I reached the high school level there were many choices to diversify my class schedule and take the classes that most interested me rather than what everyone was required to take. In terms of involvements outside the classroom I had the opportunity to get involved in National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Key Club, Optimist Club, Mustang Mentors, DARE, and DECA, but my involvements don't even cover half of how many organizations Strongsville has. Strongsville City School District has taught me from a young age how to prepare for my future, and now that it is here, I wouldn't have wanted to attend school in any other district.
Strongsville city schools allow students to succeed. There are many wonderful teachers who really care about a students success and further. Strongsville City Schools are very diverse and allow students to connect with others who are different from them. There are so many resources available to students to help them discover their plans for the future. The faculty is very helpful and kind. One thing that should change is some of the staff because many teachers show favoritism. Also, teacher reviews by students need to be reviewed more carefully and taken into consideration to decide which teachers are effective to them.
I have been apart of Strongsville City School District for 4 years now, and I have benefited off of their music, language arts, and world language department greatly. The biology and math programs are pretty average. The teachers are personable, and classes are usually less than 30 a class. I would recommend this school district to most, but there is a very racist atmosphere when it comes peers, and the administration does not expel for racist actions.
