did not have a good experience at Stow-Munroe Falls High School. I transferred to the district from South Euclid-Lyndhurst city schools and began my freshman year in 2013. I had high hopes for the school, as it was academicIally renowned and seemed like a promising educational opportunity in a wonderful town. I was mostly mistaken. I was called fat on my first day of school, rejected by multiple cliques of mean girls who no one would want to encounter, and felt extremely out of place. The administration did little to prevent bullying or provide a nice environment. In fact, most of the time the administration had no clue about the problems running rampid in their school. They focused on frivolous issues such as dress code or arriving two minutes late to class while ignoring issues such as bullying, cheating, and a dysfunctional environment. A few AP teachers thought that because the course was advanced, that they did not have to teach at all.

The school culture is great people are proud to be from Stow. There are many famous alums including Larry Csonka. I love the size of the school, theres almost 2,000 kids making it very big with a lot of people in it. Sometime the admins are lacking and we a tad behind on the technological side of schools nowadays but overall its very good. Sports are fantastic as well.
Stow school district has molded me into a very rounded student who is ready to tackle college life and beyond. My teachers throughout my school career have guided, taught and brought me to this point where I am confident that I can be successful going forward.
