Stoneham Public Schools Reviews
Overall, I liked my experience with Stoneham Public Schools. Although the high school physically isn't in the best shape, it has a pretty good education system, a good range of classes and levels of them, good sports, and many clubs and organizations. The community in Stoneham is tightly-knit and the Spartan spirit is seen throughout the entire school year in all grades. With packed football games, peer tutoring, and all inclusive clubs, the school does a great job of creating a supportive community. In my younger years, I always enjoyed going to school, thrived in my classrooms thanks to my teachers, and was involved. The only thing I wish we had access to was different leveled courses in middle school. I think at the point of 7th or 8th grade, it is good to begin to level kids in their classes, so the slower kids are not struggling and the faster kids are not bored.
Stoneham High School is a phenomenal school. Everyone is very involved, whether it’s with clubs or sports. Students and faculty really come together, especially when something heartbreaking occurs, you know you won’t be alone. The high school is really old and it is starting to fall apart, so a new school is ideal. Most students will take at least one honors/AP class throughout the 4 years of attending. Overall, Stoneham High is a really nice high school and you get your academics in with having fun along the way!
I attended Stoneham High School. While a student there, I developed the first local cable channel. My instructors were very also a student teacher in photography. I found my high school very flexible. I won two gold metals: 1) Communications, and 2) Photogaphy.
