I have attended Sterling schools my whole life and have loved every teacher I have had. Although we are a small town our high school offers numerous AP classes and many clubs. We have a beautiful turf football field and have just renovated our stadium with all brick. We have brand new tennis courts and an auditorium that is also used by the whole community. Our high school offers places for everyone from those interested in chess, to musicals, to journalism, to school goverment and sports.

I love SHS. We have many academic opportunities within our school for people that are athletic, academic, or artistically inclined. We have many connects to colleges or trade schools. We are also a certified Apple School, giving us the opportunity to learn anything we wish.
My experiences here at Sterling High school can easily be the best years of my life. This school has opened so many opportunities for my family as well as others it is very unreal. The staff here at Sterling high school I consider my family. When attending Sterling high my senior year I had left with my name on many walls I was not only a four-time Football and basketball cheerleader in the fall(s) and winter(s) I was also student council president and Drum major as well for the year of 2015-2016. My graduation day I left with a Speech given and a diploma in my hand. Sterling high School is a place where the resources are there. Every student gets the opportunity to work with mac books every day as well as have one of the best sports facilities in the state of Illinois. I can only hope there are other schools here without the country that can be half as great as Sterling high school.
