Stephenville High School impacted me in ways I never thought a public school could do. The tradition, the spirit, the integrity. All of these things are key elements that make Stephenville High School so wonderful. There was never one day where I walked down the Halls and didn't see a smiling face. The amount of history the school itself holds is something that every alumni is and student can hold with pride. All programs had something so wonderful that made them stand out against rival schools. Not only are the students themselves great, but the people whom lead them to success are even greater. As someone who struggled with mathematics my entire life, I have never felt more understood and thankful for the helped I received. The teachers went out of their way for not only me, but a plethora of students of all kind.

The teaching staff at Stephenville High School is amazing, and they truly helped me to find my passion for science. It is not difficult to get involved with nearly 50 different clubs and organizations that are available to every student. The school district is technologically advanced in that it is part of the League of Innovative Schools as well as the Digital Promise in which only three Texas schools are a part of. While there are many great things about the school district, the high school is in dire need of renovation or a complete rebuild. The halls are narrow, the locker rooms for sports are outdated, the auditorium is lacking, and the vocational building is falling apart. Also, the high school doesn't have its own football field, softball field, track, and tennis courts and must drive across town to practice many times. While I may have pointed out many flaws with this school, my overall experience with the school was outstanding and many of the pros outweigh the cons.
I love SHS! My 4 years there were unforgettable. The teachers were willing to work with students and give extra help when needed. The only thing I would like to see change is that they enforce dress code on everyone, not let favorites slip because it is unfair.
