I've gone here my entire life, and it just keeps getting worse. The teachers are nice and they try to make things more bearable, but the school just overall sucks. The sports are low-funded, and some sports are considered clubs because the school can't afford to fund them. The food is usually bland and gross, it's occasionaly decent. The classes offered are on the low end. The only thing good for classes is that they offer dual enrollment. Art based classes aren't funded as strongly as they should be. They make so many cuts on everything that they have the least amount of teachers they need. Some teachers are only there for a class or two because they're coming from other school.
I like Stephenson Area Public Schools because the teachers and staff care about you learning and will help you to do your best.
I would like the upper staff to be changed (i.e. superintendent and principle). At the moment, their decision making and rules are poorly thought out and are degrading to the overall quality of the school.
