Steel Valley School District Reviews
I went to Steel Valley for my senior year. It was okay, but the classes weren’t very challenging. It’s no better or worse than any other public school, but the main thing that scared me at this school was the security. Students got into physical fights a lot and I feared for my safety often. The administration didn’t alert parents when there were issues and they usually brushed off large threats to the school’s safety. My experience wasn’t that bad, but I don’t think I would recommend this school.
The past four years at Steel Valley have been wonderful. Since I was a freshman there has been many of clubs and activities created, and existing, that get students involved with the community. The faculty genuinely cares about their students and will go to great lengths to help anyone in need. One thing I would love to see change is the interaction between the Steel Valley Middle School and its high school. As a middle school student, I looked up to the high schoolers and aspired to be just like them, and would have been ecstatic if there was a chance to work on a project with them. Overall, the Steel Valley School District is a great facility to attend.
Great school! Small community but filled with excitement, love, and support. Had an amazing time there as a student!
