This is a great school with a lot to offer the students. I have a medical condition, type one diabetes, that the school has always taken very seriously and has always made that a priority when putting together a schedule for my classes I have never been made to feel different and I have always felt like I belong.
As far as academics are concerned, I feel as though Starpoint Central School has offered high quality education with highly educated teachers. The teachers are patient and helpful with questions and are Always willing to lend a helping hand if I need additional guidance is needed. This also includes faculty such as the nurses. I have spent my fair share of time with the nurses at Starpoint and they have been very kind and helpful. Sports and extracurricular activities at Starpoint are also a big benefit. They are diverse and allow anyone to ether join or try out ensuring no students feel left out. There is something there for everyone to join.

Though it is a very nice school for acedemics and extracurricular activities, it is a very clique based environment and the long time I had spent there, the more strict the school had bacame. I believe they did this because they are unaware of how to handle certain events in the school and are scared of things that shouldnt be worried about at that certain time. Other than those small inconveniences, the school is very accepting and it was an overall good experience and good place to recieve your education.
Starpoint is a pretty good school system but has a signicant amount of flaws. most teachers care about their students education but the administrators are too lenient. When drug searches are done, they are very obvious and give students the opportunity to hide what they have. Vaping is another problem, where almost a fourth of the school could be users. The school knows this but almost tries not to discipline people caught.

Most teachers are very supportive and can work with you if your struggling in class. They care and are willing to stay after school with you. Other teachers are harder on deadlines and your school work trying to prepare you for college.

The sports teams are good but almost all of the funding goes to the football team. The team gets brand new uniforms every year for their players while other teams like cross country don't even have basic equipment like a tent.
