The only thing the Stanwood- Camano School District needs to work on is encouraging students and helping students to go to college. When I attended 3 years ago, they never motivated us and didn't give us any resources on what to do to get into college. You had to do it by yourself with no help with staff. No encouragement either. That needs to change! College is important and changes lives.

In my experience about stanwood school districts is that all of the staff care about how you are doing, they often help more than they have to and that I think we need in every school, I think what should change about stanwood school district is more credit for the teachers, they don’t get enough credit.
I like the English department. We have many classes for different subjects, which makes it easier for students to choose their majors for college. I wish the math department was better and had better teachers. Our district lacks in high math scores on tests
