St. Michael-Albertville School District Reviews
I have been beyond blessed to go to St. Michael-Albertville Highschool. The advanced/AP teachers really know what they are talking about and genuinely care about their students. What makes St. Michael such a special school is its culture. Whether you are an art kit, theater kid, math kid, etc... it doesn't matter! There is a welcoming, accepting place for you populated by teachers and like-minded peers who want to see you succeed. With a student/faculty culture that emphasizes maximizing personal growth and potential, it is no wonder that our school's slogan is "Excellence is our tradition"
I graduated from STMA back in 2013, I loved this school! I had transferred from another school into STMA. Friends were easy to find and sports always were fun with great coaches. But the best part of this school was the teachers, if I had the second chance to thank the ones I had I would. They influenced me to push myself and to better who I was and who i could be.
St. Michael-Albertville is a fantastic environment to learn in. There is a sense of community between the students and with the faculty. There is an activity or a class for everyone. Challenging AP and CIS courses are offered that help prepare students for standardized tests as well as college. Teachers are available and willing to answer questions. The exception to this is mandatory faculty meetings on Tuesday mornings until school starts, which makes it difficult for students to receive help at these times. Overall, my experience has been positive. The school succeeds in many areas ranging from academics, to sports, to the arts.
