St. Mary's County Public Schools Reviews
The education offered here is great! It’s clear how much effort the teachers put into their teaching and assistance. There are also tons of extracurricular activities available to join, so there’s always an opportunity for something here.
Overall, I'd say it's a good school. There isn't anything special about it. I'd just say it's average. Nothing too awful, nothing too great. There's a mix of white preppy kids and white red necks. Primarily white school with many kids who think they are rich. They have an awesome volleyball team, swim team, and soccer teams. Football is terrible.
St. Mary's County Public Schools offer a lot of opportunities for students and provide a clean and safe environment. Though there are great teachers that work in this school system, some are not good and leave students unprepared for standardized tests. The food served in cafeterias is also not good. However, most importantly, the school system has a strong athletic program as well as a wide variety of classes offered to students.
