At St. John's county you discover a never before seen level of education. I love going to school and hate saying goodbye. It provides a friendly environment that students can feel comfortable learning in and their teachers are phenomenal! The schools provide activities you can enjoy, sports to keep children active and a non bullying enviorment. Thank you so much for allowing us, the citizens to learn and improve society as we know it. Education is important and without it we Americans would be lost. Remember to stay in school and strive for a better future!

Like any school there are pros and cons, good teachers and bad, and so on. Overall Most teachers and staff are very supportive, caring, and understanding. However, there was a recent change in administration, which has also resulted in several policy changes, some good, such as a less restrictive dress code, and some bad, such as confining students to a certain area, which has proven to be a fire hazard, and also deprived students of being able to get help at this time during the week. There is also a different schedule every day of the week which can be very confusing. Overall, I think the school should have been observed more carefully before making so many drastic changes.
This school district is really great- the best in Florida actually for Public schools. The high schools here have "academies" that allow the students that participate in them to leave high school with a two year certificate such as being certified as a biotechnition's assistant- which looks really good for medical school. Another high school has a bank on campus that the students can work at to learn financial literacy, St. Augustine high school has an agricultural program, and Nease High School has an IB program which transitions students for college quite well. I would highly recommend this district if you are moving to Florida.
