St. Johns County School District Reviews

This school district is really great- the best in Florida actually for Public schools. The high schools here have "academies" that allow the students that participate in them to leave high school with a two year certificate such as being certified as a biotechnition's assistant- which looks really good for medical school. Another high school has a bank on campus that the students can work at to learn financial literacy, St. Augustine high school has an agricultural program, and Nease High School has an IB program which transitions students for college quite well. I would highly recommend this district if you are moving to Florida.
Review St. Johns County School District
I started kindergarten in St. Johns County Schools and that was twelve years ago. My elementary school was close to my home so I went to school with neighbors and made lasting friendships. I've had many teachers who inspired me to do my best and created an excitement about learning. I've been able to take challenging classes in high school that are helping to prepare me for success in college. I remember PTO sponsored Spring carnivals, special Mother's Day teas, cooking in Home Ec, football games, and lunch outside with friends. I've always felt safe at school. I've learned a lot but have also had fun and created many lasting memories of my school days in St Johns Count Schools.
I went to school in St. Johns County for 5 years out of my 12. And I had the best experience with all my teachers, academics, administration and everything else that they provided me. Especially in high school, with preparing me with college. The middle school and high school I went too were very safe, and did a wonderful job with keeping the school safe and preparing the entire school with drills if something were to happen, we would know what to do. Its a great atmosphere to be in with all the involving parents with fundraisers and clubs and activities they set up for us. Not only are the reviews good for the two schools I attended myself, but every other school in St. Johns County has good reviews and are 'A' schools. I would definitely recommended the St. Johns County school district over any other school district in Florida.
