St. Henry Consolidated Local School District Reviews
"Skins, Skins, Go! Go! Go!" Deafening cheers blanket the entire gym, everyone on their feet, the band blaring well-known songs and the basketball team warming up for their last home game of the season. The entire town plus a few are in the gym excitedly awaiting the big game, the chance to win the league championship. This is why I love Saint Henry Schools. The school is so heavily supported by the entire town, so we never feel alone. It has such a small town, everybody helps out, everybody knows everybody, living for the Friday night football games kind of vibe. It's really awesome to be able to say I know all of my classmates on some personal level. It's the same way with the teachers. They all care about each and every one of us and have known us since we were little kids. Saint Henry Schools have really helped me grow as a person, and have shaped me into who I am today. This is why I love Saint Henry Schools.
Growing up in a small town everyone knows everyone, and it's not much different in the St. Henry Consolidated Local School District. St. Henry Schools is a great and safe place to attend and the teachers/staff are care a lot about us, considering they are our neighbors, friends, family, etc. With all the love I have for this school, a few negatives do arise. St. Henry Schools major focus with extraarticular would be sports. Sports has always been a big thing around here and will always continue to be. I do not have a problem with sport, but do wish that the school would focus on more of the Arts, such as drama or choir. Our drama, band, choir, art programs are very good and I really wish they would get more recognition. Overall, this school is pretty great.
I liked how truly helpful the staff is, including teachers, secretaries, principals. Everyone was looking for the student's best interest and allowed room for personal growth in everyone. With small grade sizes, we were able to have more one on one communication with the teachers and each teacher truly gained an insight on who every student was both in and outside of the classroom. There was constantly a safe environment and the staff worked arduously to provide us with all necessary materials and resources. I consider myself blessed to have been able to attend such a high rated school with excellent staff and college readiness.
