I like many of my teachers who have really been there for me. I have been involved in sports and have very coaches. I have enjoyed being on the school newspaper and participating in the live broadcasts. I am the morning announcer and I have enjoyed that role very much. I think that all my activities, sports and classes I have taken have prepared me for college. I am very excited for college.
You get out of it what you put into it. There were many times I wished for more caring teachers and administration for students like myself who struggle with academics. But, the resources are limited in this small town. So, overall, my school experience here has been good!
Springfield School District is a very close knit community. Everyone knows everybody and everyone has had the same teachers. It's a pretty easy going district with pretty easy classes. It's an easy school district to get through if you do the work. Even though it's easy, there are still many people that would rather do drugs and dropout than graduate from high school which makes the district pretty embarrassing sometimes. It's just a small town district with some drug problems.
