My child participated in many activities that enhanced their learning experience. The activities were wide-ranging from sports, honor societies, Thon and ACE that focuses on a career in engineering. The teachers are very supportive and are available to help your child succeed. Parents are very involved especially in fundraising activities that help enhance opportunities for the students. The school encourages the students to participate in honors and AP classes to challenge them and ready them for college.

As I'm growing up in Springfield I have an IEP and I also have bad anxiety and the Springfield the staff here is very understanding about my issues and helps me with the support I need both academically and mentally. I love how Springfield is a school district accommodates to mental health-related problems and doesn't get upset at kids that have a hard time doing things such as presenting in front of a huge class or raising there hand and asking or saying something in fount of the class which can be very anxiety provoking, teachers here have gone above and beyond to love these problems such as going over to the kids who have there hand raised and answering them individually while the rest of the class is doing group\individaull work or they can even go to them after class to ask whatever it was, some teachers even let kids present projects to them before, after school or even during lunch if they don't wanna present in front of the class.
I have three children in the district. I love the music and arts programs offered to the children. In addition to the excellent academics there are so many sports, activities and clubs for all kids to join. I am proud of the charitable work the schools do, especially Brunner Bash and SSDM. Teaching the children fundraising and aligning with PSU and Four Diamonds has taught all of the kids that hard work pays off.
