Spring Grove has good administrators and puts in the effort to provide a clean campus. It's located in a safe area and I felt safe being in the schools. The district hires strong and professional educators that provide complex education. This district prepared me well for college. They have an impeccable music program!
The academics, buildings, and programs are wonderful. We as students have ample opportunities in Spring Grove. That being said, the culture of the school and its staff makes it hard for certain students to feel safe. The administration does not take reports of harassment, bullying and others of the sorts seriously at all.
I am a proud graduate of SGAHS. I was involved in sports and other activities. My teachers from 1st grade thru 12th grade were absolutely awesome. I always felt safe in my environment and was always challenged to be my best version of me. Academics were challenging but not too challenging, coaches, teachers and mentors were always transparent and supportive. It is a fabulous school district to send your children. It is a rural community with a lot to offer.
