Spoon River Valley High School is a small school. It is not the best school but its not the worst school either. The teachers are willingly to help you in every way they can to see you succeed in your future, but there is some favoritism throughout the school. Some students do not get what they deserve it that sucks but that is life. You have to defend for yourself if you want what you deserve. But the academics are great. The only major thing that needs to change them preparing us for college.
The teachers care about you and everything you do. They take the extra steps to make you feel welcomed. The school itself is small, so you can know everyone by name and participate in any activity you want.
