Overall the school is a very positive and full of spirit! Every grade seems to be comfortable and social with the others. Mostly everyone is treated fairly and although there is a lack of minorities, us minorities are treated fairly and supported through clubs and various activities.
My only issue is the staff and teachers. There's been cases where I've been discriminated by classmates and the teacher haven't helped me when she was standing right there. There's also a teacher who has had a whole class of students fail and simply covered it up, not bothering to change their teaching style and they blamed the students.

Personally my freshman and sophomore year were great and I honestly wouldn't have traded those years for anything. The teaching was amazing, the teachers were great, and the administration was found to be fair on our ends. I have to say when I hit my junior and senior year things changed, the ways we learned criteria was changed, rules were switched around; so many things were/are becoming different and it's a lot to handle especially with junior and senior years generally being the toughest years of high school. Even after all the changes, honestly there's nothing like high school, you can take so much out of it, and even better you take home life long friends maybe only a couple but it proves those four years weren't a waste. I would re live my high school years if I had the chance and I'd have to thank Southwick high for such an amazing 4 years!
I love my school, Teachers and Administration are Awesome!! It’s a small town which I love. We are all friends and have been going to school together since pre school. My teachers are always attending workshops to further our education and have our best interests in the forefront!
