Southwest Independent School District Reviews
Southwest Highschool is a very open Hisghcool for everyone to express themselves ina variety of ways. Many teachers are very supportive and motivational towards your future career. The thing that I admire most about Southwest is how much community involvement there is for everyone. I especially enjoy how the Southwest Dragons have always had a very strong sports program for kids in the ages of being a freshman to a senior. To add to that there are so many clubs and activities that are open to students on practicing their leadership skills, opening up ideas for bettering the school or just even to enjoy and be a part of something positive. The atmosphere all around is great! I’m proud to say I’m a part of the Southwest community.
Southwest ISD is great! They have great teachers, staff, and administrators. It creates a safe environment for student learning and feels like home to many kids, especially those in extracurriculars. They have so many programs and opportunities for the students and it just keeps growing. Southwest ISD is the best district and there is nothing I would want to change about it.
I've been a part of the Southwest community since I was in elementary and its always been a good learning environment. The Southwest district has a great culture that's very well supported by the community and a long history spanning sixty years. From the elementary to high school, the community is very close to one another and continues to grow. The teachers and educators really care about the students and go through great to lengths to provide a quality education. The district promotes academics through the many duel credit and advanced placement programs, and promotes these classes to everyone who is willing and capable.
