While attending a Miller High School I have experienced many different things, but what high school student hasn’t had both good and bad. Miller has many great activities and is great at involving all students, also getting their students to experience things in life that they may only get one chance at. They have teachers that help get involved with kids to help them succeed. Miller lack just a few things such as some teachers are not very good at preparing you for college and they lack having all kids engaged in things. It’s a small school with small classrooms which may help kids learn better and it may help them to feel less pressured while doing so. The school takes all percussions to keep their students and teachers safe. We have drills we do every month. The school has recently upgraded to computers for all students and they have been offering more classes to the students.
My experience with Southern Local Schools has been for the most part average; it’s not super challenging and it isn’t wholly boring either. I wish they would fund the art and music department better. I do like the friendly school councilors and front office.
