I have really enjoyed my experience at Southeast Polk. I have gone to this school since Kindergarten so I do not have much to compare to, but I have enjoyed my involvement with the school and the concern the teachers and staff have for you. There is a large variety of clubs, if a person is interested in something we likely have it. It is not very difficult with this variety to find your place and what interests you. The staff is friendly and the opportunities are endless. The school offers numerous college level-courses so you can explore your options now. We have programs also to help prevent bullying and help support members of LGBTQ+. I think the school is a good environment overall and I have had a great experience with it.

It has been such a rewarding experience for our daughter. She has made so many memories and been involved in so many things all with the help of the wonderful staff and team! From homecoming court to NHS to volunteering with student council...this has bee the most rewarding experience of her life!
I have gone to Southeast Polk my whole life, and have never hated the school as a whole. It is a great school district with many opportunities. Southeast Polk has many clubs/sports students can join, and have many college credit classes that lots of high schools don't offer. They also offer classes that other schools do not that benefit us and what we want to do with our future. One thing I would like to change about my school is the amount of cliques we have and the favoritism between some teachers/staff with students. With the cliques in my school, it can be intimidating for others to participate in school events because friends stick with their friends and don't usually leave their groups to meet with new people and get to know them.
