Southeast Delco School District Reviews
I have been enrolled in Southeast Delco School District since the 2nd grade. My educational journey has had ups and downs, however, I wouldn't trade it for another school district. The teachers provided instruction and inspiration to the students who wanted to learn. The extra curricula activities encouraged the students to strive to be the best and also encouraged teamwork. As a high school senior, my counselors, teachers are preparing us for entering college and becoming adults. I would rate my experience in Southeast Delco School District second to none.
My experience with Southeast Delco school district has been a pretty good as a whole. I have been in the district since i was in 3rd grade and I like how I am still around most of the same people I have been around since then. One thing I like about the district, especially at the high school is how much safety precautions are in place. Also I like how many school clubs, activities and sports there for the kids to take place in. One thing I do not like about the district how little college readiness takes place. I am now in 12th grade and the high school is just now trying to do things to help me and fellow classmates prepare for college which I feel is a little too late given the fact that a lot of students are already accepted and possibly committed to colleges. Those are just a few things that I liked and disliked about the district but I would rather be here than in any other district.
In Delaware County, Southeast Delco is one of the worst school districts. In fact, they are terrible. My family had to spend the extra money to put me in catholic school, in which I am extremely proud to have attended. The children in this school have low reading skills, and poor math skills. it is embarrassing to have to deal with a school system with that low of an educational bar.
