Southampton Union Free School District Reviews
Review Southampton Union Free School District
As a senior at Southampton High School, I can tell you that here at Southampton there is something for everyone, everything from a robotics club to a Cultural Latino Club, where you can meet and interact with students from different backgrounds. Although Southampton has many factors that may have a positive impact on many students, there are also a few things that may be improved in the following years. Alongside these activities, you can find a group of staff that is willing to ensure that every student understands the curriculum, even if they have to spend hours on each individual student. One such improvement that can be made is the food sold within the building. Although it was bearable, the food was not exactly something that I look forward to everyday and would much rather purchase food from the local deli. Beside this factor, there are not many negative experiences that one can have at this school that is full of determined students.
I've attended Southampton schools my whole life, and feel incredibly educated and had a very good experience. Although some teachers are not too good, the district has some phenomenal resources and teachers. In the high school, we have many resources and most teachers provide you with help when needed, and educate immensely.
Southampton High School is a diverse community where the majority of the staff and students are open to others. New ideas are always tested out each year, and I love this school. There are great teachers, and kind students who are open to making new friends. There are so many clubs and sports teams. Just to name a few clubs: Key Club, Best Buddies, Rotary Interact, Girls Learn International, Varsity Club, Drama Club, Jazz Club, Gay Straight Alliance.
