I was very fortunate to attend Southampton High School in New York, during my 4 years of high school career I was capable of accomplishing tremendous amount of leadership skills and dynamic success. Southampton High School did not just provide great learning strategies but was capable of maintaining our school workers and students safe enough during these tough times of COVID. I strongly believe that this is an important topic, due to the pandemic all students had to learn remotely and many seemed to be struggling, my school therefore provided extra help hours and a more vulnerable plan for the learning of its students.
Southampton was a perfect school for me growing up! The teachers put so much effort in building strong and close relationships with their students. They were always willing to work with students who were struggling if they asked for it. There were many classes offered between electives and AP classes. The sports were given many resources despite not being that great and the overall facilities are nice. The diverse student body led to a great experience. The only downsides were the clique nature of a small school which often caused drama because everyone knew everything about each other. Some areas of administration may also need help.
The Southampton School District offers safe learning space for children of all ages. The teachers are well rounded and provide a nurturing class setting K-12, making it an enjoyable place to be and learn in. With a variety of classes to take with varying levels of each course, the students have an opportunity to learn what they please to proficient depths.
