I've gone to SSP schools my whole life. Overall, the experience has been beneficial, one must be willing to put in the work in order to get into the more challenging classes that will better prepare for college. The teachers are excellent, but as with any place, there is always room for improvement. Reprehension for bad behaviour could be improved by stricter cell phone policies. Ultimately, I've enjoyed it there, it has opened up many fantastic opportunities and I am thankful for that.

One of the benefits of going to school here is that if you start out in kindergarten, you are very likely to stay with all the same people until you graduate. This gives a really unique experience as we as students are able to personally know each of our classmates. However, this can also be a downside. In the high school, the administration is touch and go. So often there are kids who repeatedly misbehave yet face little to no consequences. The teachers are all wonderful and do the most that they can do to try to help, but they can only do so much. I would like to see the principal and the rest of the administrative team enforce the standards they set for the students. It would be a much safer place.
What I like about South St. Paul schools is the teachers are very welcoming, and very helpful in helping you learn the subject. They are always there for helpful advice if needed. The school is very well organized the students are very helpful if you need help finding your class or your locker. The staff is very welcoming and super nice. What I like to change about the school is starting later and end earlier. I would like to have open lunch so the students can have the choice of getting whatever lunch they want or taking the school lunch. I would also like having free lunch, because some kids in my school cant afford lunch.
