South Brunswick HS offers so many different ways to get involved, which is how I made most of my friends. They offer so many clubs and sports teams to join. It can be a very competitive atmosphere at times, but joining these clubs and teams helped me find a group of people that I did not need to compare myself to. Besides, the competition just makes you better. There is a high standard for students but it is achievable with the help offered from teachers and other students. I enjoyed my time here!
South Brunsick High School is truly like no other. The variety of classes that South Brunswick has to offer is amazing. There are interesting classes like forensics and biotechnology that are not offered at a lot of other schools. The staff is also very friendly, understanding, very helpful and approachable. All the music programs are amazing, as well as the sports teams. SB also has a cool project adventure area to utilize during PE and after school. Several events are recognized by the dedicated staff for all students to enjoy. There are also a variety of clubs that students can choose form. The volunteerism and community support and service morals instilled in students is commendable. Every Viking graduates a better person by following SB's five core values: Kindness, Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, and Service. Go Vikings!
SBHS has made me a well-rounded person with qualities in academics, extra curriculars, ethics, life values, and communication. My teachers have acted as leaders, role models, and parents who have guided me and other students with values of honesty, integrity, time management, cooperation, and confidence. My classes and teachers have challenged me to push beyond my boundaries, try new approach methods, and persevere both academically and personally. Aside from academics, music, law club, XSTEM club, and Public Health club have taught me the importance of discipline and awareness of the world around me. Now, I often see problems as opportunities for solutions and an impact on people's lives rather than a helpless situation. The opportunities to learn, grow, and understand others is endless at SBHS. We are taught to be leaders, lift others, and stay united as the SBHS community. Overall, I've met people of all different backgrounds and beliefs who have shaped me to be a proud viking!!
