South Bend Community School Corporation Reviews
I am a senior that goes to Washington High School. My experience with South Bend Community School Corporation has been fair. I participate in the Medical Magnet, sports, and clubs throughout my school. I can say that I have enjoyed my four years participation in this corporation. One thing that I like about the corporation would be the friendships and diversity that is there. I also like the dedication that teachers strive for to make sure we, as students are on track and focusing on our education. I also appreciate that teachers take time out of their lives to make sure that we get our education. One thing that I would like to see changed within the corporation would be the rivalry between schools. Out of the four school located within the corporation, everyone thinks that they are better than one another and then violence occurs. As a community everyone should work together on building one another up and helping each other and not knock each other down.
What I most like about South Bend Community School Corporation are all of the opportunities given to each student. Every opportunity gives students the chance to be better prepared for not only life, but their future career choice as well by teaching them necessary skills for the job allowing them a major head start. The only thing that I would suggest is bringing in more wonderful opportunities because there can truly never be too many!
In my experience, the school isn't terrible, but it could definitely use some improvements. Most of the teachers are amazing (shout out to Ms. Christopher) and I haven't been attending long enough to get a complete idea on the faculty. However, in my opinion the administration is a little to lenient on the kids who need talked to and harsh with those who don't need it as much. If you want a music school, Clay is for you.
