What I most like about South Bend Community School Corporation are all of the opportunities given to each student. Every opportunity gives students the chance to be better prepared for not only life, but their future career choice as well by teaching them necessary skills for the job allowing them a major head start. The only thing that I would suggest is bringing in more wonderful opportunities because there can truly never be too many!

South Bend Community School Corporation (SBCSC) has been very progressive with its overall functionality as it is slowly getting better. Originally the entire corporation seemed unorganized and sloppy due to the many transportation errors and random school closing without fair warning. It has been more inclusive of other ethnicities and groups within the education system, but the students do not exactly feel so safe in school. The magnet schools offer accelerated education as they prompt kids to take part in extracurriculars however, the overall atmosphere is okay but it can be better.
SBCSC was a decent school corporation, but there still needs to be changes. I've had a good experience and most of the things that the schools offered was great and somethings need to get changed. One of the main things that need to change is the quality of some teachers and how they are reviewed. The teacher shouldn't be notified that they are getting reviewed by administration. The administration should show up a random day and review them. That way teachers can't put together a lesson real quick and teach that one day. Some teachers are awesome and do their jobs while others need to do there job and teach us and get us prepared for college.
