Soledad Unified School District Reviews
As a senior from Soledad High School, I obtain the experience and general knowledge of how this school functions, handles complex situations and cooperates with students to ensure they acquire the resources, support, and knowledge to transform them into college ready students. Taking solely my experience into consideration, I can inform others on the impact this school has provided me with. Soledad High School is filled with ambitious students who seek to reach their full potential and qualified teachers who are devoted in assisting their students in terms of academic success. Although Soledad is a small town, Soledad High School is passionate about aiding students with the best resources for them to experience things outside the local community through clubs and activities, learn new way to express themselves through their school culture, and involve parents with school updates, in order for them to be aware of student’s academic process.
My experience at Soledad High has been memorable so far, with exciting school activities and meeting new people. Although I wouldn't exactly say that this school has helped me reach my full academic potential. The teachers at this school seem to come and go causing our academic departments to be weak. Especially, our math department which has to lowest test scores. We do have a large variety of clubs where each student has the opportunity to meet others that share the same interests. Many do not take advantage of this and are the cause of the lack of school spirit. In ASB we try to set up events to get the school involved. In Soledad, there is the mindset that we are just kids from a small agriculture town destined to not go far. We need to show the students at this school to follow and chase their dreams while providing the proper guidance to do so. Overall, Soledad High school has been kind to me and others by taking in every opportunity there we can.
Soledad high school is in a small town.I love going to school there because the students there are so nice, responsible ,and respectful. Its only been 3 years since I moved to soledad and I’ve never had a problem there. The teachers help you a lot for example in work, projects and homework.I also like this school because the teachers always push you hard to graduate on time. The teachers at soledad also become your best friends.I love walking into my classes knowing that I will get the support I need to pass my classes. The principal also tries to make school fun.He gets along with everyone.The. Campus is amazing there’s enough space to walk around.Theres sometimes army guys walking around always talking to students, cops also go to the school during lunch to hang out with students. Its always fun to have the cops around because not a lot of people who like cops but the student including me like having them around because we always feel safe. The campus is always safe.
