I've had a great time at SVSD! It's a great district with a large variety of classes, clubs, and sports, and all teachers and admin seem very ready to help and knowledgable. Only problem is that some kids can be less than nice, but there are cameras everywhere...

SVSD is a really good district and has good elementary and high schools. Their middle schools are quite poorly maintained though. The people are welcoming, but they can seem very hard headed because of their strong opinions. The sports programs are fantastic and Music is very good as well. Academics is not the absolute best but everything necessary is covered. There are some really good electives to choose from as well. The staff takes care of all students and tries to make sure nobody is left behind
I found it to be quite difficult, as my full four years were spent during the new school's construction, so from a freshman campus, to limitations in every day studies, I was unable to get the high school learning successfully until I went into the Running Start program. Now that it has finished, I believe the school will be better than before, but during my time, I wished they would've accommodated more to the students positively
