What I like most about the Slaton Independent School District, would have to be my teachers. This year has already been a rough one for everybody, although my teachers made it feel like normal and safe. They helped me with struggling homework when they saw my grades were slipping. They talked to me when I had nobody to talk to. They listened to me figuring out my work problems so they could give me feedback. I love the support my teachers have given me throughout the years, and will always be grateful .
I wish the art department had more funding and appreciation. Students who are interested in the Arts have little to no access to information that could help them in their professional lives, leaving their work stunted.
I liked how small the school was and it was easy to focus in class and I like how all the teachers are so easy to talk to and they actually listen to what you have to say clans they almost are like friends because they help you with tough decisions and stuff like that
