As an SHS alumni, I can say that I had the full high school experience. Between academics, sports, and other activities I can say that Sisseton High School has much to offer to each student. Many times I have needed extra help on assignments, the teachers were willing to put aside time to help me.
I have been very happy with the education in Sisseton. I have children in Westside Elementary, the Middle School and the High School. I am quite pleased with the extensive list of choices my high schooler has to choose from for courses. And I know all my children are being academically challenged.
The sports program isn't where I think it could be, but then again...my children's #1 priority is their education.

Going to school here has taught me many lessons for life. Some of those include to get work done on time and not to be late. Also, that in order to get places and succeed you have to put yourself out first. I don't see the school changing anytime soon though. The way the school runs works and teaches students valuable life lessons. Four years of high school really does goes fast and it is important to savor every single one of those moments. Overall, the school fully prepares you for life.
