Rating 4 out of 5 6 reviews
Silver Lake is a wonderful regional public school. Teachers and parents create close relationships during there students academic career. Teachers and administrators are easily accessible and always willing to be of assistance.
Overall, the academics and most of the staff at Silver Lake is incredible. There is such a large variety of classes and electives, and every teacher is very engaged and passionate about what they are teacher. The only thing I would change about the school as a whole would be the atmosphere of the students, but it is a public school so that cannot necessarily be controlled.
Silver Lake was a great "show" school, for all the statistics and reviews that it has. The school in itself does not do much about bullying and harassment. No formative actions were really taken to prevent ongoing harassment or bullying that was witnessed between students.
