Sidney is an amazing small town school. The teachers here are so nice and supportive! You have a lot of options to choose from when it comes to extracurriculars, considering how rural western Nebraska is.
I have been attending Sidney Public Schools for about 11 years now. I have loved attending here, because this school has a lot of really nice extracurricular activities. They are all inclusive and widely varied. I have learned a lot through their fine arts programs and mathematics classes. The food is the only thing I could really complain about. It is all super processed food that tastes kind of rubbery.
Sidney Public Schools is my home away from home. The staff is very friendly and most teachers are willing to help you in any way possible. Not only the teachers are nice, as the students are very welcoming and it is a very diverse school. Our school has received several academic awards and I'm proud of that. I am very involved in our amazing music department as we have won many awards and have traveled to many places including Carnegie Hall in New York. The one thing I don't like about my school is the food. There is a variety of options available but sometimes, they can hard or undercooked. Our school is very focused on academics, but also cares about your extracurricular activities. All in all, Sidney Public School is a great school, and I am very glad to be at this school.
