The Shrewsbury Public School System consists of understanding, helpful, and hardworking teachers who truly put in their best effort to give students a meaningful learning experience. The variety of subjects and classes offered allows students to figure out their areas of interest and focus on whatever topics they choose. The different levels of difficulty of the classes - B level, A level, Honors, and AP - makes it so everyone is comfortable and appropriately challenged in their classes. To add on, there are numerous clubs and groups after school so everyone can find something they enjoy and explore hobbies. Although the schools are quite ideal, the college readiness aspect could be improved. Juniors are not really informed on how to best prepare for or what to expect during the college application process. Discussing such topics in everyday classes can make students more familiar with the process and feel more confident in the long run. Otherwise, the SPS school system is amazing!
Shrewsbury Public Schools has provided my three children with an outstanding education. All three of my children have been able to make meaningful connections with teachers and friends and feel a valuable part of the community. The academic standards of Shrewsbury prepare them for a bright future.
There are currently five elementary schools and a beautiful high school which competes in Division 1 athletics. There are a multitude of clubs to offer. My children are thriving in the school and community .

I sincerely enjoy my experience at Shrewsbury Public Schools. The faculty has always provided the best possible education for the students and has always been willing to aid in our future success. In the high school, there are over 20 clubs and sports offered as well as all different class levels depending on a student's strengths in each subject. The only negative I have on Shrewsbury Public schools is the population size. Our community has grown these past five years with the addition of several housing communities. The High school now holds more than 2000 people, making it difficult for each student to be remembered within the community.
