Shelton School District Reviews
Ive gone to shelton high school for the past 2 years now. ive enjoyed the most part of it but when it comes to teachers teaching and sports there not handled very well. Our algebra 2 teachers are having more than 30% of kids fail their classes because the kids don’t understand what their teaching. Sports teams are very good! The shelton bowling team doesnt have a bowling alley so we have to use a bus/van to drive up there every day to practice, we all wish they would put in another bowling alley in soon! We had one until it burnt down in 2007
I have been apart of the Shelton school district since I started kindergarten, same as my brother and sister. Throughout my 13 years of being part of this district they has been some good and bad. The teachers they have are great but our sports teams could do way better also the need to learn how to manage bullying because I was bullied throughout middle school and nobody helped me. I currently am a Senior at Shelton High School and they want all there students to graduate on time and know what they are doing after high school.
My experience at this school has been good but sad. When I moved to Washington, it was very hard for me to make new friends so I spent most of my time studying and trying to maintain an outstanding GPA. Throughout my years at Shelton High, I have managed to get a lot of help with my studies and even my personal life with my counselor. This has helped me a lot because I know I have someone to depend on. After all this, it’s still hard for me to make friends because of my shyness but I have now made a couple of friends and I feel okay at this school. It’s been hard but it’s been a good school to me.
