I've gone to Shelley my whole life and it was a blast. I've had so much fun and will be sad to leave many of my classmates when I go to college. All the teachers are very helpful and willing to listen to you. There is so much energy at this school and it has a very good learning enviornment. I love it!

The school itself is very sports oriented. If you aren't in a sports team or in the band, you don't really matter. Most of the teachers are also sports coaches and give special treatment to sports players. And often neglect the class in order to sort out sports problems. They don't discipline senior's at andll because they are leaving soon and most of the time ignore problems with students and the building. The people are often friendly. About 60% of students are genuinely good people. They do not offer any sorts of AV or Robotics clubs or anything of that sort.
The diversity is roughly 70/30 of white to hispanic. And maybe three African Americans in the whole high school.
Shelley High School has treated me well. It is easy to get involved, and students who do so always have a wonderful experience -- plenty of fun, plenty of learning, and plenty of good opportunities for making their future a bright one. Oh and of course, all the friendships that bloom between even the most unlikely of people. Out of all of Shelley High's goals, I believe the best is its determination to help make each individual the best that they can become.
