My experience with my high school over the past four years has had its ups and downs. I have been blessed with some amazing teachers and friends but every place has its downfalls. The emphasis on sports at SRC is more than anyone can handle as well as there always being a star student, who indeed is just a favorite. The school could do more but they chose not to, but I grew up here and i will always love it.
We don’t have dress codes. We are free to wear whatever we would like and that makes our learning experience all the better. I enjoyed being comfy while I was learning and I was able to do that.
Our science program didn't have all the things it needed to prepare many of us for science labs in college.
It’s a public school. I go to school for free (except for the occasional field trips, lunches, etc.). That’s awesome by itself, considering we outperform some of the more expensive private schools in our neighboring districts.
Our lunches are actually fantastic. They’re prepared in the kitchen, hot and ready to go, and they’re pretty good as well. Our teachers do buy lunch from our cafeteria. The portion sizing is pretty good, too.
Our school grounds were clean.
All the rooms are spacious and well stocked with supplies they needed. They were accessible for handicap students as well.
There is time to do homework during the day, and the schedules are well thought-out.

Small classes are nice. Most of the teachers are great, but definitely favoritism exists with some. Overall wonderful school devoted to college prep classes and getting students prepared for college.
