One thing I really like about SCPS is the fact that every kid gets a device to do classwork on, which is such a nice resource. The teachers are always willing and want to help with anything a student needs help on! The only thing I wish was different is the communication among kids and the administration, they always go straight to the parents but leave kids in the blue.

I recently moved from Jefferson county public schools to Shelby county public schools. In Shelby county the administration takes the time to learn your name and makes you feel like you are cared for. Your teachers and counselors do everything in their power in order to assure you are properly being prepared to reach your goals. The school is very welcoming, clean, organized, technologically advanced, and feels like home. I now feel safe in my school and I am able to challenge my learning through many college courses that are available. I would choose Shelby county over Jefferson county public schools any day of the week.
I absolutely enjoy the versatility of the education in this school. Is has given me the opportunity to receive a proper education, while also being able to learn more about my self and how I gather knowledge the best.
